Hunter knows he's untouchable and loves to rub it into the faces of the American people who until recently believed that the rule of law was alive and well in our country. They have naively believed that we would all be treated equally under our laws and SOMEONE (the MSM LOL or a trusted political figure double LOL) would expose all of this and cause the American people to rise up and end this kind of BS. Here is the sad reality that we have to admit. Hunter (and Joe and the rest of the BCF) are going to walk away from their obvious criminal activities with no consequences at all. The Oversight Committee can vote Hunter in contempt a thousand times and if those contempt findings aren't going to be enforced, what good are they?
Where were the Capitol police and/or the House Sergeant at Arms to arrest Hunter since he was in a House controlled area while the contempt order was passed yesterday? And, what do you think would happen if the Committee subsequently referred the matter to Biden's DOJ for enforcement as a criminal matter? Garland would ignore the referral (laugh with his buddies about it in his office) and later appear before the same Committee with his deer in the head lights look on his face and SWEAR that his department would NEVER engage in selective prosecution or assist the BCF from facing charges for their wrong doings. Riiiiight. fbh1 would believe him, I bet. Why the very idea! There isn't any weaponizing or wrongfully withholding of the power of the government going on here..... but TRUMP.....
As Andy McCarthy has pointed out in a larger context, if you take the enforcement possibility out of the equation, you don't have the actual rule of law anymore, just a discussion of the theory of rule of law. (please excuse me, Andy, for not stating it as well as you did). Andy went into this so well in an interview I heard just this morning. He pointed out that the most substantial charges that could have nailed TBG were committed in the period when TBG was VP. Weiss let the statute of limitations pass on charging any of these crimes. Selective prosecution? Yeah. Will the "so-called moderates and independents care? Apparently not, it was all a witch hunt anyhow.....again. RIIIIIGHT. This could easily lead to a dictatorship if the leaders can block any prosecutions for their wrong doing...but TRUMP....
Even if the House could get it's shit together enough to pass Articles of Impeachment against Mayorkas, Garland, Austin or BIDEN, every one of those actions would fail to pass the Dem/Soc controlled Senate. So, the only answer is to take an overwhelming majority in Congress and elect a POTUS who will go after the deep sate leftist radicals in our government. We would need people who now buy into the MSM propaganda to do that. But, judging from recent debates here , I am not hopeful that will happen. Why?..... but TRUMP!
