Hypothetical ?

Of course. They would then say Head to Head matters and Conference Championship. They would ignore the two blowouts. That half time talk was absolutely disgusting. Especially when they said that at the top of the criteria is Conference Championships. Last year they said that was just something they could consider, but it wasn't necessary.

So, if we had beaten Mich State this year and had 1 loss, would they be leaving us out of playoff if OSU wins? I bet they would.....
Georgia, Clemson, Oklahoma, OSU?
Of course....conference championships matter (unless OSU doesn't have one). I'll even go one further....flip our resume with OSU's this year and I bet they'd be pushing for OSU to get in....two losses by 4 points and a blow out win over UM plus a win at Kinnick at night....they'd be pushing OSU big time.

Funny, because it would almost be identical to last year.

We got blown out at scUM
They got blown out by Iowa

We beat them in a close game...blocked FG
They beat us in close game blocked punt

Yet you are probably right and in both scenarios tOSU would be picked to go and embarrass the league

Except Michigan was in the Playoff discussion until "The Big Game" last year, and Iowa is Iowa, just like every other year. The NCAA is horseshit through and through.

In fairness to the NCAA (it killed me to type that), they have nothing to do with the selection process.
