I am excited for the future!!!!! MK brought up some great points (cough) in another thread as it pertains to Franklin. Let's face it, OB steadied the ship at a time when we needed him. Now Franklin is working out the kinks which takes time. What we have here is not like coaches taking over other programs. He took over a depleted program that was young (still is) and recovering. MK made the point that we have beaten the teams that we were better than and lost to the one's that we weren't (all true)…..We all want 10 wins but it's not feasible right now. It's just not! Franklin worked wonders at Vandy and I believe he will here too given the opportunity…… I had to laugh because on CollegeSportsRadio radio today, Jack Arute had Mr. College Football on the show. Tony Barnhart is on every week and they open up the lines for questions. A caller called in and said "does PSU need to get rid of Franklin, Donovan or both"? He laughed and asked the guy if he was serious? He knows what we have if everyone can exercise a little patience. Now, I am not a Donovan fan and I am not sure what will happen after the season (stay or go). However, with a mobile QB next year and even a slightly improved OLine we might forget about what Donovan has dealt with or even done this season. In addition, these kids that are committing to PSU all love Franklin and his attitude. I know recruiting is just part of the equation but eventually he will have "ALL" the players he recruited and these kids can all play….. It will be his players and his scheme! After that, there won't be any excuses and we all know it….
Oh, lets not forget that we are going to have some nice football upgrades to further boost the great things to come!
