I am so sick of hearing about Michigan, I hope OSU wins

by 70. Maybe that will shut up the BIG and sportscasters, and writers. Hope OSU wins by 40. If Michigan lost every game in every sport, the media would still love them.
Nope, you heard it here: Jim and UM 27, osu 24. UM reclaims its hold as the greatest CF program of all time. After all, it's the winningest of all time by a huge margin and facts and numbers don't lie. GO BLUE !

We need to hope something happens that eventually derails OSU. They've been a machine since Meyer took over. Without Meyer's recruits, Ryan Day is otherwise unremarkable. He has zero charisma. If he walked into the living room of a top recruit after Franklin, Harbaugh, or Saban, you would think he's there to sell you a vacuum.

I am torn on this one....I sort of want UM to win because I am sick of the media jerking off Fields and Chase Young. It would be funny as hell if O$U missed the playoffs.

For bowl positioning purposes, we really need OSU to win. I think Michigan has a solid shot at the upset, particularly if Fields not 100% after dinging leg yesterday.

It will be interesting to see what the Vegas line will be. I'm thinking OSU -3 maybe -4 at the most.

This is so damn true.

Numbers don’t lie, and neither does the calendar. Michigan has been slightly above average the past 20 years, and hasn’t been a dominant program since the era before face masks. Calling Michigan dominant at this point is like calling Rome or Sumatra dominant.

I sadly, begrudgingly and with no pride in my choice will dig deep to muster all the might I have to hope that Michigan comes out on top. It is the lesser of two evils, I want to see OSU's undefeated season end and then root for Minnesota to beat then in the Big Ten championship game. .

Assuming that almost everyone on the board dislikes both teams, a Michigan win would be worse...OSU will be ranked ahead of PSU regardless, but Michigan will ONLY be ranked ahead of PSU if they win...
As a PSU fan, it seems better imho to be ranked ahead of one of the two instead of neither...

Just when I think that you have conquered your demons and are on the road to sanity, you knock on the door of the asylum asking to be admitted again.

Well, despite his lack of charisma, OSU once again has a stellar recruiting class. It is his assistance who are attacking the recruits. The have a great staff.

Just watching some of Fox pre game show, there is no way Urban went out on his terms at Osu-he would still be coaching at the osu if it were up to him. He will be coaching again soon.

OSU has got themselves in a position where they sell themselves regardless the charisma or lack thereof of who is HC of the team. They have a "brand." As far as next week, I think I'd rather see OSU win than Jimmah gain some mojo. Michigan is another school that all the talking heads slobber over. They too have a "brand" of a sort and could very well become what OSU is.

His nemesis and supposedly the one behind his 3-game suspension and "retirement" - OSU president Drake - is retiring at the end of this school year. Meyer clearly still loves OSU and vice versa. Could get interesting

Who the hell cares about what bowl we are in. Your either in the final 4 or your not. We need the bucks to lose and not make the playoffs. No other way around it. F them idiot buckeye fans.

yeah, I was going to post prior to the game about how disrespectful it is to have tOSU and talking heads speak like Penn State was just a tune up game for Michigan. Keeping it close and winning on a “fluke” every once in a while is not going to change. We need to beat tOSU a few times for the narrative to change.

If Michigan spies JF successfully they win, UM's wideouts are clicking , if Chase hurries Shea's throws then the Bucks win.

Day is going to run the ball down the throat of that weak UM DL. PSU's DL is far better than UM's and PSU couldn't stop Dobbins and Fields running over 200 yards. Patterson is not going to have all day to throw deep to Collins and DPJ. You know why Okudah's name wasn't heard yesterday? Teams don't even bother throwing against him.

I don't know why any PSU fan would want UM to beat OSU and finally make Harbaugh seem legitimate. OSU wins in a blowout, and Don Brown's vaunted defense is going to get torn again.

Interesting in what way?

tOSU most likely gets into the CFP even if they lose because they’ll have the BIG Championship Game to play in, so might as well see more Harbaugh and Michigan misery as they lose yet again to tOSU.

Is that why Justin Fields and Julian Fleming chose to play for Ryan Day instead of going to play for Franklin? Your post is stupid and you know it.

Exactly 5 seconds after the final whistle sounds and Michigan defeats Ohio State, wolve1972 will vanish.

its not because of him. I hear Fields loves the bucolic campus. Says it looks amazing in the pictures he sees online. Dolt.

Unless one's dislike of Ohio State is so overwhelming that it trumps all other considerations, the "party line" for a Penn State fan here is to root for Ohio State. Simply put, a Michigan win bumps us down a notch in the bowl lineup.

Frankly, I've come to accept that Ohio State is at a different level, and will remain so for the foreseeable future. We are competing for that #2 spot in the conference, and if that means seeing Michigan get the boot to the throat, all the better.

Ohio State by 14 or so.

Nothing is permanent. A few years ago, it looked like it would be USC and Texas every year...where are they now?

Oh, of course. But let's face it.......Ohio State is poised to stay atop their perch for at least the next few years, unless of course Ryan Day proves to be an epic Larry Coker. I'd be surprised if that happens, though.

In the meantime, I'd prefer we solidify our #2 spot and stay a step ahead of Michigan. I think we can do that.

5* talent is lining up to play for Coach Day. He kept our 2019 class together when they all could have left following Urban's departure. The 2020 class is top 5 and the 2021 class is looking even stronger. But go ahead and keep thinking elite talent doesn't want to come here and play for him.

They would play for the skeleton of Woody Hayes at this point. As long as OSU is winning, it doesn’t matter who’s coach. Vacuum salesman with the charisma of a paper towel or whom ever. Going there is like getting to bang a playmate every week as long as you’re willing to put up with her idiot dad and family talking to you every now and then.

Normally I would pukingly hope for Michigan to wax Ohio State given records this season, derail Buckeyes. That being said, the sickening love Michigan has gotten since their rally vs us failed (which supposedly was a game that Michigan gave away according the MSM), F Michigan. Hope Buckeyes throttle them. That being said, I am sure Michigan will win and they will be portrayed as best team ever.
