I am so sick of hearing about Michigan, I hope OSU wins

Nothing is permanent. A few years ago, it looked like it would be USC and Texas every year...where are they now?

Very true, but man, doesn't it just seem that none of that applies to Ohio State?

1. Tressel gets fired.
2. Fickel takes over and has a bad season. Maybe there's hope that the Big Ten dynasty is over.
3. Meyer decides he's well enough to coach again and goes to OSU.
4. Double-digit wins every year return.
5. Star QB Haskins leaves early. Backup is a downgrade ... hope for the East division?
6. 5-star QB from GA decides to transfer out because he can't win the starting job.
7. NCAA says "sure ... no problem. Immediately eligible."
9. Meyer resigns a 2nd time for health. Maybe now there's hope?
10. Day moves in and hasn't lost yet as a HC. He continues to bring in the top recruiting class in the conference.

Both USC and Texas had terrible hires that couldn't continue the great success of their predecessors. OSU continues its decades-long run.

To apply a famous BWI Board quote: "This is what we're up against." ;)

Normally I would pukingly hope for Michigan to wax Ohio State given records this season, derail Buckeyes. That being said, the sickening love Michigan has gotten since their rally vs us failed (which supposedly was a game that Michigan gave away according the MSM), F Michigan. Hope Buckeyes throttle them. That being said, I am sure Michigan will win and they will be portrayed as best team ever.

If we’re arguing about what is best for Penn State bowl-wise, if it’s not the CFP it doesn’t matter. Rose would be great but I’d rather see OSU lose and have a narrative build that Day the charismatic black hole can’t win big games than see them trot off to the CFP in his first year with Meyer’s players.

Michigan is another team that goes to the portal to rent a quarterback just like Ohio State. This BS irks me. Why don't these teams just go with who they recruited. Wonder what recruits think when they commit to Ohio state or Michigan as quarterback?

Nope, you heard it here: Jim and UM 27, osu 24. UM reclaims its hold as the greatest CF program of all time. After all, it's the winningest of all time by a huge margin and facts and numbers don't lie. GO BLUE !
You haven’t beaten OSU since Bush was President. Your great team is headed to the Hall of Shame Bowl to play Auburn. Enjoy your next visit to Europe while we keep visiting Indy

Ideally, osu puts a beat down on um, wiscy does the same to minny, then osu smacks wiscy down hard. That would likely be the only scenario that moves PSU from a Florida bowl to a NY6 bowl.

Yes, I know; for all you "all or nothing" fans, if it's not the cfp, it doesn't matter. <sigh>

It really doesn’t. The last time people got hype about NY6 bowls we beat Washington and lost to USC. Neither moved the needle much for us either way, especially since recruiting classes are mostly wrapped up in December. I’d prefer a NY6 bowl, but if not, oh well.

by 70. Maybe that will shut up the BIG and sportscasters, and writers. Hope OSU wins by 40. If Michigan lost every game in every sport, the media would still love them.

Michigan is the real deal. Sorry you can't accept this simple fact. All nation will undoubtedly be watching THE GAME, and we will be ready and expect OSU to lose! (34-28). It took some time, but Michigan is finally hitting on all cylinders. In recent weeks, the coaching staff has consistently put players in a position to succeed. The comparison between the current play-calling and what was occurring in September and early October is night and day.

And players are executing, too. The turnover problems that plagued the Wolverines through the first half of the season have been eliminated. And the passing game, which seemed so underwhelming considering the roster's talent, is playing to full potential.

FACT: Saturday's win was yet another step in Michigan's evolution. The Wolverines have won four consecutive games by a combined margin of 166-45. Yes, you heard right, 166-45.

Except it’s too late. Michigan can’t win the BIG, can’t go to the CFP...and this was supposed to be Michigan’s year. Senior laden team, returning QB... . And the best you’ll do is third in the BIG East. And next year you’ll be starting from scratch.

Um, what are you doing over here? We already beat you and you were even gifted a TD with Patterson's sneaking in under the scrum after he was down. Go spread your propaganda on the OSU board. Your act is tired.

Michigan hitting on all cylinders? Didn’t they just fail to rush for at least 100 yards against Indiana?

OSU 45 scUM 13

I am torn on this one....I sort of want UM to win because I am sick of the media jerking off Fields and Chase Young. It would be funny as hell if O$U missed the playoffs.
Missed the playoffs?? Get a grip pal. And a team

Nah..the answer is tOSU trounces scUM and then OSU loses to wisky/Minny, makes the playoff and then loses badly.

So now we have Wolve, JimJim and this putz? Are they one and the same? I know Wolve is an OSU fan, but if any of these are different people and actual UM fans, why keep going to a board of a team you lost to a month ago. Defies logic to me.

You outed yourself as an OSU fan weeks ago yet you continue this nonsense still. You must have a really sad life.
Not an OSU or UM fan. Guess I'll stick with the user name I've been using for almost a decade on this site. Over and out.

We need to hope something happens that eventually derails OSU. They've been a machine since Meyer took over. Without Meyer's recruits, Ryan Day is otherwise unremarkable. He has zero charisma. If he walked into the living room of a top recruit after Franklin, Harbaugh, or Saban, you would think he's there to sell you a vacuum.
Meyer is gone. But the recruits have watched them roll since 6th grade. It takes a bit of time to sink in. They’ve crested a very high hill.

I thought Harbaugh was the QB whisperer as well. Starting Patterson over McCaffery says a lot.
