Especially when Singleton has a very real chance of recording the best all-around Freshman season by a PSU running back in PSU history. Barkley currently holds that distinction - he rushed for 1,076 yards on 182 carries in 2015 (7 rushing TDs which was the record until 2019). What is amazing about Singleton's season is the numbers he has put up on the limited number of carries he has had. Singleton has put up 10 TDs and 801 rushing yards on only 123 rushing attempts. For comparison purposes, through 10 games in 2015, Saquon rushed for 902 yards on 148 carries and 7 TDs (So Saquon had 25 more carries than Nick to this point). In the last 2 games Saquon carried the ball 34 more times. Again, what is most remarkable about Singleton's numbers to date, are the extremely limited number of attempts he's needed to put up his record shattering numbers (he has only averaged 12 carries a game). The average length of his TD runs is also insanely impressive. It's one thing to have 10 TD runs averaging 4 to 5 yards per TD, but quite another to average double digits per TD run.
