We all know (or should) that guys like Meyer get paid $6 Million a year (or whatever it is) for one reason - to win football games..... and all the other stuff is pure BS.
We all know (or should) that folks in positions like Meyer’s (and Gene Smith) are almost always:
- Incredibly egotistical
- Incredibly self-interested
- Incredibly myopic
- Incredibly entitled
And - often - not very bright (despite their “success”)
We also know that in our society at large, folks placed in positions of power and “prestige” overwhelmingly expect to be treated as royalty...... and that actions which would cause severe pain (like, getting fired) to a guy working away for $20 an hour are “overlooked” for these prima-donna assholes.
Why? It is the Idiocracy within which we live.
But even with all those “expectations” in one’s back pocket - - - watching that “press conference” with Urby and Gene Smith...... it was still STUNNING to see the level of all of those traits displayed by those two c^cks^ckers.
The pure, abject, to-the-bone “c^cks^ckery” of those two assholes is absolutely stunning.
