Do you ever find that there is something that you end up doing while at a game that can put you in touch with the Gods of Fate and direct the outcome of the game.
At the Penn State vs Md game we had seats in the second row 15 yard line on the Penn State side.
We were really sucking wind. Nothing that we could do would allow us to play consistently. Although we could have been down by more at the end of the first qtr, I thought that we had a potential to be blown out.
So as we got up and lost the lead a few times, I started noticing that when I refused to look at the play on the field and started looking solely at the video monitor and decided to yell at the top of my lungs while looking at the monitor when we were on Defense, the fortunes of the Maryland Terrapins began to erode.
It worked. we held em when we had to do so. I was screaming louder than anyone at the stadium and I know that my voice solely prevented and drowned out the MD QB from making first downs and converting when they had to do so.
It was only when I looked at the monitor and yelled my brains out that it worked.
I had it all that day.
I think that I should get a medal for my play and that Lion victory.
