I can't take the pressure of the green dot....

apparently Penn State's sexual abuse prevention program is called "Green Dot". Whenever I log onto this site I get a Green dot next to my name and thus I'm obviously concerned..

The four-day training session, which starts Monday (June 8), is the first phase of the initiative. Known as Green Dot, the program will provide a core group of Penn State faculty and staff with the skills and understanding to foster a safe environment, recognize when it is appropriate to intervene and empower people to diffuse problematic situations.

Agree that he needs to post more often.

I do sympathize with him, as his zingers were perfect for Subject lines in thread view. It probably takes him a lot longer to find opportunities, and then takes the rest of us longer to find his comic gems.

Honestly Tom, it's part the new Board format and part trying to survive the needs (and demands) of my 16 week old basset hound puppy.....it seems the only time I have to take a pee is when he takes a pee. One - he doesn't always give me much advance notice and Two - it takes me longer to get started and longer to finish!

He's actually doing good, loves his cage / crate and no accidents in the house (for either of us) over the last three weeks. But I had completely forgotten the challenges from my two prior puppies (1993 & 2000). If he's out of the crate and I'm here on the computer, he looks for trouble and can find it quicker than thecoolestfish can run the 40. Good vet visit yesterday, he's up to 21.5 pounds, but still 5-6 pounds smaller than the next size up from the six in the litter.

I'll figure out how to post his pic one of these days!

I have it on good authority that many of those posters were drunk when they "liked" Gambit's posts. There is a consent issue.

Seriously this is a good program. They came up with their own name and they are active in high schools and colleges in >20 states. I am the last person to say the leadership of this university ever did anything right, but by accident they seem to stumbled onto something here.

Oh dear.... Green Dot is not a PSU thing. It's a training group that organizations hire. Vanderbilt, Kent St, Wash St, U of Idaho, TAMU, UTenn, Gonzaga, etc have all used Green Dot trainings.
