Purdue guilty of a holding violation as the players were getting off the plane.
No yellow flag anywhere.
These damn officials don’t see a thing. Let them travel from Indiana to Pennsylvania without a single penalty. Has to be some sort of conspiracy.

How’d I do?
Can I join the cult of bitchers and whiners?
Have a great weekend everybody.
Enjoy the games. Even that despised early start game at noon.

It was funny today, in the 1st half just about every Purdue offensive play you could see holding. It didn't matter, it wasn't going to change the outcome but it was getting more and more blatant. They were pushing the limits. Then Carter complained very visibly after he missed a sack that he would have had (he seemed respectful somehow), and the CBS crew replayed it, and then suddenly there were holding flags on the next two plays. It was like the officials got embarrassed or pissed off and finally decided to call it. Purdue has a pretty decent O-line, it's the strength of their team, but once they couldn't hold, they couldn't really run the offense any more. PSU really stuffed the run by midway through the 2nd quarter and that was that.

BTW it was Jerry McGinn's officiating crew. They're one of the best if not the best the B1G has. They have a let-em-play philosophy, they're not going to throw a flag unless something is 100% clear. In this game, the outcome was never in doubt so why slow down the game with a lot of flags. But it's one of those things, you give an offensive line a little leeway and a few plays later they're pulling players down by the back of their jerseys and you have to draw the line.
