I feel horrible for the players

They let the fans down, coaches had a handful of bad calls but the players sh*t the bed multiple times too by not executing. Players didn't make the catches, fumble, bad punts, bad tackling when it counted. It happens. Need to spend the bye week regrouping and finish out the year. They can run the table, see where the chips fall

Coaches fault we had 5 dropped passes? Maybe. But, I say that's on the players. Terrible call, but it definitely wasn't just that play that cost us. The Sanders fumble was a turning point as well. Can't make that many mistakes against the #4 team.

That play call sucked and a couple of the plays with Stevens were bad as the O was moving the ball and that seemed forced. But our great punter was bad all but 1 or 2 punts, Miles falls down on 3rd down which led to a missed FG, multiple drops that were not difficult...an absolutely brutal fumble inside our own 30 and some bad tackling. There is blame to go around all around. O, D, Special Teams and Coaching. Need to regroup.

Feel bad for the players? Juwan Johnson should be apologizing. Brandon Polk should be apologizing. Miles sanders should be apologizing. The entire secondary should be apologizing. Friggin McSorley gives them almost 500 yards and a 2 score lead and those assholes blow it.

two time outs for an up the middle run...were we looking at alabama in the sugar bowl

...close, but no cigar... :)
... defensive backfield tackling was on vacation ... but too many inexcusable 15 yd penalties...
... oh, well...

Their offense and defense made the plays when they had to. Our offense did not. Period. 1-4 vs Ohio State last five year. They are superior to us. Period.

Swiss cheese defense showed up in the last 8 minutes.

Were Hammler and Polk both hurt? They weren't in the last drive.

Hamlin went out after the targeting call and didn’t come back if I remember. Not sure about the whereabouts of #10.

We can run the table, but with MSU, Wisconsin, Iowa and at Michigan all ahead we could lose 2-3 more if we don't clean some things up.

No it wasn't just that play but it still goes down as one of the most questionable play calls in PSU history.

I do not doubt this at all. I really didn’t think our defense would play as well as they did. But I still can not justify this 4th and 5 call. Not in this game with what was at stake.

Some people on social media are claiming that Trace checked down to it. Hard to believe, he carried the offense all night so I would assume he wanted the ball in his hands.

Superior to us? Is that joke. PSU looked like the better team for all but 7 min where there was complete break down.
Not even close bub..

Why is everyone focusing on that one bad play call. There were horrible play calls and decisions all night. The players did what they needed to do to win. The coaches screwed them over. Franklin and Rahne have to answer for this crap.
