This past sunday, I unfortunately blew out my other knee (L) while in net. I was in the butterfly position when a guy fell on me, bending me all the way back while my skate was stuck in the net. After the MRI on Tues, today I learned that I blew out my MCL. Detached from my Femur actually. Doc said I was looking at 6 mos recovery time and I might never be able to play goalie again. What sucks is that I am in awesome shape but at my age, maybe all good things do come to an end. Not giving up yet, but this blows! Sorry, just wanted to vent with my leg in a brace drinking some vino. Playing hockey is my outlet and this just makes me sad...
