I know many of us here ( @kjb32812 and myself included) still get a good rise out of Chris Peak's proclamation that Pitt was getting the kids they want on the recruiting trail. Seriously, this reads like a news network propaganda outlet that you'd expect from a country in the far east. You can almost read Narduzzi's voice into some of the lines in the piece. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but there is no way anyone can objectively entertain any of this. Pitt is recruiting at perhaps a sub-Rutgers level and this is the spin.

It tells me that the staff has [them] pretty high on the priority list. Right or wrong and regardless of what the offer sheets might imply, they didn’t “settle” for those guys or take them out of desperation."
"So if we’re going to stick with that broad definition of successful recruiting, then the staff is pretty much doing exactly that: filling the target numbers at each position with recruits they have prioritized."
"But right now, the staff is getting guys they are targeting. And I think there’s a lot to like in the class."
