I Thought Notre Dame's OL...

...was touted as the best OL in college football, with 2 or 3 1st round NFL picks...
...it sure isn't passing the "eye test" tonight!...
...one thing that I noticed in Miami's rush defense is that they DO NOT over pursue and get pushed beyond the depth of the QB... we often seem to overrun plays...

They look fat and slow.

They don't seem to get pushed as far out of the alignment they have towards the QB, I believe because they are quick but have more strength than our "speed" rushers, Simmons and Toney.

Another factor is that the ND oline is over rated. Just as all aspects of ND football are, year after year.......

Miami’s rush D did over pursue quite a bit when I saw them earlier in the year.

The last two weeks they’ve been lights out. ND was definitely overrated though. A balanced offense would give the Miami D problems.
