I was just thinking how difficult it might be for the Hoffman family.

Your sitting around the dinner table with your sons who wrestled back to back for a state championship in the finals yesterday. Your oldest son a senior wrestled first at 185 and he get's pinned in the first period. Your younger son, a sophomore, pulls it out in the 3rd period and wins a state championship title. My thoughts are it would be awkward to balance that out so as not to hurt the one by showing to much emotion for the other. How do you think you would handle that situation?

I think the elder son had his game lifted by the younger and might say w/o my Lil bro I'm not in the finals my senior year. Bummer but I'll learn from it and be better for it.

Good kids and better family.

Think how cooper manning feels.

Not everyone is fredo corleone but I get your thought process.

Good article about Garrett and his high school career.

"Hoffman was pinned by Bulsak in the 182 pound in 1 minute, 43 seconds, ending a brilliant career for the Montoursville senior which saw him become his school's winningest wrestler, and finish with three state medals to his name. But Saturday's ending at the Giant Center, that was nothing like what the Bucknell-bound Hoffman had envisioned his career ending like....

The second place finish at the state tournament is the highest of Hoffman's career, but the way he lost didn't sit well with him, especially a night after wrestling the best match of his life when he beat Franklin's Dakota Geer, who is ranked No. 1 in the country by Intermat.

“To come this close to my dream and have it crushed by a stupid decision on my part hurts,” Hoffman said. “I don't want to say it was a fluke because (Bulsak) earned this. It really hurts to come so close, but yet be so far away.”
Montoursville head coach Jamie Yonkin could commiserate with Hoffman after the loss, as he lost in the state finals as a senior at Montoursville in 1995. So when he pulled Hoffman in close for a talk up the tunnel away from the Giant Center floor, he explained Hoffman's brother Gavin never could have won his state championship Saturday without Garrett's help."
