No, NJ, I didn't have a coupon. I noticed two things:
  • Help wanted sign looking for both full and part time jobs starting at $15.50/hr.
  • A Whopper was $7. The least expensive burger on what used to be the value menu was $3 (a double cheeseburger)
I remember a couple of years ago board libs were saying a $15 minimum wage would only raise the cost of a hamburger by a nickle. In fact Secretary of Labor said it would be a nickle back during the end of the Obama administration. It turns out that was about as accurate as not one dime to the deficit and the average family will save $2500 per year.
