I will never understand what is holding and what is not holding by OL

i just watched ND score their second touchdown, and the end zone view showed an ND lineman with two fistfuls of Snowden’s (UVA LB) jersey as Snowden pursued the ND RB into the end zone. One hand was grabbing the front left shoulder of Snowden’s jersey and the other was grabbing rear left shoulder. I thought the rule was something akin to grabbing the front of the jersey when facing the defensive player, but nothing more.

Was this holding and just not called, or was this legal holding?
