I will throw it gloves off

Iowa fans worse than any other BIG fans.

they are awful!

nuff said.
Iowa fans in general are okay. I've been treated well as a visitor. Where it typically falls apart is the visiting Walmart Hawkeye fans (Thank you Buckeye fans). They can be amongst the worst. I make the distinction because I think that many of the visiting crazy fans may have never went to Iowa. The Walmart Hawkeyes can make the Badger fans appear to be angelic. It is weird that it can be such a night and day difference.

Keep in mind that they may just get P'O'd when around Minnesota fans. The "Who hates Iowa, We hate Iowa chant isn't exactly friendly.

When one thinks Iowa fans are the worst, it’s clear they have never visited Rutgers or West Virginia.

and OSU is below Iowa.

I have yet to go to an opposing venue and not heard or seen the obligatory F PSU or similar. In fact, opposing fans get it from some PSU fans every they visit us. It’s what happens past that first, elementary level of nonsense that shapes how good a place is to go. Iowa is not among the dregs. That school and fans, and Ferentz, have openly professed respect for PSU and Paterno for decades. If you had a bad experience, it’s an outlier. I enjoy Iowa as much as any trip to Alabama or Wisconsin.

I have no problem with Iowa coaches or their athletes I have a problem with their people. Their fans. I cannot stand them.

I thought Alabama fans were the best with Notre Dame fans a close second. WVU fans were the absolute worst. In Morgantown, I was spit at by a little old lady and some drunk dude tried to light my PSU shirt on fire. With me wearing it! The Bama game was 1990 and the other two were in 1986, so things may have changed.

I’ve probably been to 8-10 PSU games at Kinnick in the last 30 years. Have had good experiences, win or lose. Sure, there were a couple of FU’s by drunk college males and one goon in the stands after the JS mess. He shut up quickly when BOB’s squad rolled it up early and I told him to direct his attention to the scoreboard….Fun college town. Easy to get around. Lots of choices for food/drink. Pretty campus…..Wish I was going this year but we did Madison for our road trip.

I never understood why anyone would be an iowa athletic supporter, but to be one without having attended iowa is unfathomable.

The point was to have fun with it. For clarity, I don't have issues with Iowa the state or University of Iowa fans. Wisconsin is kind of a different story. I hate UW athletics and their teams.

Back to the point, I was just trying to have a little fun here.

With that said, Go Penn State!!!:D
And my point was that you said touché AND posted a meme. That’s all ;)

Morgantown is getting a lot of bad press here, and while I agree it’s a little rough around the edges, I’ve enjoyed any/all of my visits to WVU. Actually, one of my favorites.

My only interaction with Iowa fans was at the 09 rose bowl. Some sitting right behind me. Asked them why they were there since PSU and SC were playin and they said “we’re here to support the B1G”. Put them up there pretty in my hierarchy of opponent fans. Sure there are some bad apples but I don’t think of Iowa fans as bad

You must have been really pissed when the Iowa fans got a delay of game penalty called on them because your offense couldn't hear the quarterback................ in your own stadium non the less. Lol! Oh by the way I seen a set of goal posts for sale on ebay if you guys are looking for some. How could you and your pathetic excuse of a fan base let the visiting team tear down your own goal posts after kicking your ass? But yeah, you're right, that little chant drives us crazy.
