I know Cassar already has another year coming that he will likely eschew to move forth with a pro fighting career.
Out of Cenzo, Hall and Shak, who would return?
Not everyone wants to stay in college 5-6 years. What do people think?

Not sure, but all are adults/ college grads and have future careers ahead of them. I feel like Shak is definitely done and was there just for this one last year. Maybe Cenzo and Hall can use the next year to complete an advanced level degree but I wouldn't fault them for also moving on and letting the next wave of wrestlers get their chances to compete.

I think Cenzo and Mark are pretty done with college wrestling at that point based on their social media posts.

Who knows with Shak, it's crazy imagining being in college for 7 years but Grant Leeth and Jordan Pagano both said they'd want the year back so who knows. Truthfully I think Cael is ready to move onto Michael Beard at this point anyways.

Austin Matthews was in his final year.
He graduated HS same year as ZAIN.

Looking like winter sports will not be able to get an extra year, only spring sports!

Former Lacrosse player .... hell yeah. We want to see the core of that juggernauts return and win it’s first Natty in 2021. Hyper wrestling fan, but, all the winter sports got their season in 90%+. We are stacked for 2021-2024 and don’t need administrative help to help Iowa and Cornell understand the pecking order.

So a senior whose team didn’t make the NCAA tournament (basketball) or make the wrestling championships. Should get an extra year ? That’s why I can’t see winter getting a year. That would make no sense

I know it wouldn't happen, but bring back all qualifiers, have them enrolled for fall semester. Change rules and these guys are in the room for September and have a belated NCAAs in late October. Seniors are then done, 2020 -2021 season begins. Hall, Cenzo, etc are made whole and we get 2 NCAA's as fans.

I’ve moved past the prospect of having the winter athletes return for an extra year. I just don’t see any of the scenarios being bandied about happening. It’s unfortunate but as a fan I’m just extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to watch Hall, Vincenzo and Shak don the Blue and White singlet. My hope is they are all able to return for a more important milestone in the near future, their formal commencement ceremonies.

To me the best idea I have seen and think I saw this on HR is to allow anyone that hasn't used a red shirt to allow them to use it for the past season.

The NCAA is surely discussing every aspect of this situation. Every decision will come with it's own set of consequences and challenges. Time will tell if there will be any accommodations for Winter Sports student-athletes. Doubtful, in my opinion, and this does sadden me for the impacted kids.

Every team who can bring guys back will have real big problem with the 9.9 limit. Without a corresponding change there it might prove untenable, not to mention the potential for the loss of kids through the portal who want to go next year or cant afford the $ to wait yet another year.

Had they cancelled in November I might feel differently, but not March

This is what I have wondered about. If limits don't change, folks come back that weren't anticipated, and new recruits are coming in, where does everyone go?

But then what about everybody who used a redshirt this year expecting to start next year? Or an incoming freshmen who thought his weight would be cleared out? Anyway it goes, somebody is going to lose.

ofcourse, an extra class - at least some individuals - knock out somebody and even room size limitations can be impacted
