All game threads are a mess no matter what school you cheer for.
You’d think posters would get tired of making ridiculous posts early in a game only to be made to look foolish by the end of the game….i know I did, so I stopped doing it. It shouldn’t take a Mensa member to realize a game is four quarters, not two series.

Psu wins 41 to 13 and we get 3 weeks of experts on here telling us they suck. OSU looks average all year and it is crickets.
Literally no one has said "we suck". People have concerns as everyone sane should.
Ohio State has issues as well but they're less talked about because we aren't focused on Ohio State other than what we need to do to beat them

I guess what I'm not understanding is that the spread went down to 17 when starting back Henderson was declared out and they won by 20. The half-time adjustments by OSU obviously worked

They're a mirror image of us. They're slightly better offensive. We're slightly better defensively. Simple.

It is deep but it doesn't matter if the OL can't open up any holes - that's their problem. ESPN had OSU as the deepest RB room in the country.
Not so sure about that. Have you watched their putrid OL this season? But yeah, both teams are very similar. But I have read that their defense is vastly improved as they're one of only 3 teams nationally that hasn't given up a play over 40 yards this year. Last year they were consistently gashed by the big plays
I agree, but our defense is better than theirs and we don't have a Marvin Harrison. I feel like we are pretty even with them overall. OSU has the advantage of being at home vs us, and the mental advantage of beating us the last 9 out of 10 years or whatever it is.
Didn’t say anything about the team as a whole, (they’re undefeated). What I DID say was their running back corps sucks. You proceeded to get your panties in a bunch and started talking shit about PSU’s running backs to try and make some sort of point. Yes, because of their WRs they're better than us right now. The QBs are about even. Our RBs have underperformed but if they step up then it's more even.
Why do you constantly bring up PSU’s running backs? Nowhere in anything I’ve posted have I talked about them. The fact is DuhOSU’s starting running back is horrible. If he was on a team, say, northwestern, he’d be really good for what they are. But they have zero running game and rotating 4 backs to try and find a good one, five weeks in is telling me they’re desperate.
You mentioned them in your response to me and when comparing offenses we'd discuss them.
