You have a damn cushy and wonderful life and should be grateful for that.
Yeppers to that. Realized long ago that sports are over rated and now watch very little. Mostly just Penn State. Do watch the Steelers because everyone talks about them and you need to know about it or be left out but laugh when they fall on their faces like last week. You have a damn cushy and wonderful life and should be grateful for that.
This is called perspective. They don't really matter which is what allows me to view the state of our team with such a clear level headed thought process. The real life problem for those of us with two Penn State students (and a couple more on the way) is that the university still have to pay the most over-rated staff in the country and the most over-paid head coach and whose players are complaining that football has to pay the bill for other sports (how the world works) and constantly want more and more resources. Eventually, this hits tuition and fees (here is a secret, it almost certainly already has impacted fees and tuition but money is, you know fungible).Yeppers to that. Sports doesn’t pay the bills, improve my health, change the weather. In fact, unless you are in a sport related business or a gambler sports outcomes have no affect on your lives.....unless you allow it to.
I'm sorry--is this supposed to be your way of saying we shouldn't complain about being blown out yesterday? You have a damn cushy and wonderful life and should be grateful for that.
I'm just grateful I have no more money invested in penn state football. I cancelled my club seats after 20 years, so no more games and money outlays. You other guys can now help pay the billsI'm sorry--is this supposed to be your way of saying we shouldn't complain about being blown out yesterday?
People can still appreciate their life while acknowledging the issues with the program we love and that most of us have been supporting for decades
This is literally nonsense and has nothing do to with anything. Sports, including college football, are big business the rely on their fans--complaining and not accepting failure is a part of that.
