Or was it just a simple mistake? Remember that Shannon had been charged with rape but was eventually exonerated.
Could someone have purposely sabotaged his ceremony? If so- they erred because his notoriety for this moment magnified his reach and therefore shine.
I'm certain that teenagers who never watched basketball in their life are sharing the clip around the world.
Hell- WE wouldn't have known except for the error. I remember him as a very electric player, whom we happen to beat in the miracle Rec Hall comeback. That feels like a lifetime ago for our hoopsters...
