Got a big game this week. The team deserves a crowd of over 100,000. They have been playing their hearts out and although it doesn't always look great they are 6-2. Win this week they are 7-2 going into Northwestern. Come out of there 8-2 and who knows. Could be a very good bowl game. All from the youngest team in the conference and a team that was declared dead a few short years ago.
I realize the students have a tough time getting into the stadium for kickoff of a noon game. Not sure what we can do to encourage the students to be in the stadium for the pregame and kickoff, but if you know any students lets try to encourage it. I know it isn't Ohio State or Michigan that we are playing, but it is a very big game for the Nittany Lions.
Wouldn't it be great to have Beaver Stadium rocking from the Blue Band pre game show until the game ends. Let Illinois know what it is like to play in front of 107,000 vocal fans who love the Nittany Lions. Send the team to Northwestern with a 7-2 record and see what they can do.
