I'm happy today. Are you happy? I'm so happy, I'm going to sing...

Yep.

Available alongside Franklin, former Penn State standout and current wideouts coach Terry Smith answered questions himself.

Asked about the impact of Joe Paterno on the no-names tradition in the first place, Smith said the issue was never one around the Penn State football program since he first arrived on campus decades ago. Still, with the decision to go back to the traditional look now made, Smith said he appreciates its unique heritage even more.

"Back in the day, it was never a topic. It was never an issue. The only issue that I remember from my playing days were the black shoes. Do we wear white shoes and why are we wearing black shoes when nobody else is wearing black shoes?" he said. "Clearly, I appreciate it today. Back then I was young dumb, and still chewing bubble gum, but now I understand it as a more mature adult."

"I'm happy and thankful that he created this tradition, I'm happy and thankful that we're back to this tradition. We've got 125 years of history to be proud of."
