This class finished anywhere from 15 to 18 to low twenties depending upon which so called expert site that you want to believe.
For Penn State to finish this high just a few years after the sanctions 2 years in a row is amazing.
It would be amazing for PSU to finish this high even if there were no sanctions based upon Joe's history.
So as far as recruiting is concerned, CJF's detractors should give it up as they are nothing but Malcontents.
There is nothing wrong with our program from a recruiting standpoint that a few extra victories will cure.
The Pitt program is not even on the same plane with us. We out recruited Michigan State and the rest of the Big 10 except for OSU and that idiot Harbaugh at Michigan. The gap will narrow with OSU with some extra victories. In a couple years, Michigan will be back to the days of underachieving. That is the "idiot's" story everywhere he goes.
All we now have to do is wait a little longer for the victories. We will see signs next year. Heck, we saw some improvement in the Bowl Game this year.
This recruiting year for us was outstanding. Our special teams will now be drastically improved both on the field position side of things and on our ability to score. That will mean 1 or 2 victories alone next year.
Our O will be a Coach Franklin driven machine with a field General, our OC who will have multiple weapons at his disposal. I believe that our Offense will be scary good.
Our D will have more skill than at any time since the first year of the sanctions.
