Probably 9 or 10 without any upsets for the rest of the day. If we beat PU convincingly and Iowa beats UM, that COULD be a possible top-10 match-up.

Thoughts?

AP poll, no, not without someone losing. Over 100 points behind Texas and ND.

We are only 16 or being ND in the coaches poll. 59-0 might get us enough to take 10 from them, but they are playing a ranked UVA team.

Both PSU and UM should move ahead of ND. Those were some impressive wins by both schools !!!!!
If ND loses to UVA, absolutely, but not otherwise (for UM, not PSU). Otherwise, they both lost on the road to top 10 teams, and ND's loss was much closer than UM's... And, RU is REALLY bad

Rod Gilmore will still say that ND should be higher....even if they lose again

Very, very rarely does any team fall out of the Top 10 without losing. Just doesn’t happen.

Who do you think we jump if no one loses? I can't see anyway this happens.

No. The impact of the blowout win was lessened by Maryland's loss to Temple.

In the coaches we only need to jump up 1. We'll see. I could see us switching with Wisky after their close win.

Wisconsin isn't dropping below us because they gave up 12 late points against Northwestern. We need teams to lose to move up. Some have to lose twice until we have an Ohio State win on the resume.

The game was very close at halftime...

It was then Wisconsin got a couple defensive scores and led by 21. Let's not focus too much on halftime scores when the argument is Penn State could jump Wisconsin. Buffalo for example.

I'm very happy with where Penn State's at we're just not jumping Wisconsin this week.

Things will eventually shake out like they almost always do. The teams that take care of their business will likely be right where they want to be at season’s end.

Rankings are meaningless at this point. Season probably comes down to beating osu and not dropping more than one as long as it isn’t the Buckeyes.

I wouldn’t worry about rankings this early. One game at a time and it will work itself out in the end.
