Whoop, there it is! So it is about monetizing on your government experience. It has nothing to do with freedom of speech. That alone is justification to pull it. Pulling it from Brennan, from others on ‘the list’, from William McRaven and from anyone else who wishes to martyr himself against that big, bad wolf Donald Trump. LOL!
A few facts about security clearance. It is not conjecture, rumors or little angels and devils sitting on your shoulders…
1. Security clearance follows the job, not the person. Leave the job, lose your clearance
2. There’s this little thing called ‘Need to Know’. It can (and often does) preclude you from having access to info even if you’ve got the clearance
3. John Brennan left CIA over 1 ½ years ago, in January 2017. That’s more than an adequate transition period clearance retention, don’t you think.
This is just another example of the Deep State cabal at work. Where the normal rules don’t apply to the elites. I had Top Secret clearance, and I had no idea these guys could keep theirs for so long in private life. More and more of such abuses-of-power come to light with each passing day Trump is in office. Which is a good thing. If Trump keeps going as he’s going then I can easily live his behavioral issues, warts and all.
