No surprise there despite the outcome being favorable for them. China does have point about our Intel Community (i.e., trust but verify). But I find it amusing how they point the finger at Ft. Detrick when the initial virus plume was at Wuhan. Hmmm, I wonder how that works.

Former DNI John Ratliffe was on TV last night. He wasn't surprised. He said based on everything he's seen there's scant evidence the virus developed naturally. The investigation was hampered by finding scientists with the appropriate security clearance and ones who can read Mandarin. That makes it a pretty select group. Moreover, finding Patient Zero and Species A is well-nigh impossible when: 1) China blocks access and 2) destroyed evidence such as hosing down the Wuhan Wet Market. Conclusion: I guess we just have to take China's word on it. That's a pretty glim assessment with 649,000 dead Americans. One would think we'd at least boycott the Winter Olympics but we Americans are a forgiving bunch. And let's not forget who's got a sociopath on its currency. He killed far more than 649,000 and yet he's idolized. Go figure.

Thank you.
