Inky lied: Feudale provided emails to AG (link)

So, the OAG, GJ Judge and the major newspaper in the state were engaged in an illegal cabal? I guess the "tin foil" hat-wearing, pitchfork crowd has been vindicated.

The great thing about emails, is that they are like roots of a tree. Once you get access to one person's string, it will lead to others (that can be subpoenaed). A guy like Bagwell could end up with a lifetime gig here. The roots of corruption, we know see, are very deep. (starting to sound like Chauncey Gardner).

This could go anywhere...hitch up your big-boy pants...going to get real.

It won't go anywhere unless someone wants it go somewhere, though. Nobody in PA state government will touch this. What can/will bring the feds in? And at what point will editorial boards start demanding action?

Hopefully the lifeline that Frank Sheeran keeps mentioning is some kind of federal impetus to get to the bottom of this.

Feudale, Frankie Porn King and the Inky journalists all do their best George Costanza simultaneously....... "Is that wrong?!?"

Ray...is there any newspaper or media outlet that gives a rat's ass? I think they ALL are corrupt. I posted on another thread that the only people talking about this are the good folks who want the truth on this website...no major media outlets give a crap...it's unreal. The stuff you uncover could make some journalist famous...yet nothing ever happens. Sorry...I am just frustrated with this whole mess. Trying to stay patient and keep the faith..

Insane! We need Yahoo or USA Today or some other mass media to get on this. We know these crappy rags aren't going to publish anything. Christ, even the CDT won't touch it, and they made a living from the sandusky trial, they made their online site a pay site because of it.

I guess I have said this before, but how low do you have to stoop to be a prominent PA Judge? He himself turned over the email that he (and his media outlet) say she illegally turned over.

And the State Supreme Court ignored Kids for Cash for 18 months? Is that what I read? What does it take in this state to have the feds come in and start investigating? I know they finally busted K for C, but I mean investigating the horrific blindness of the PA judiciary and LE at the AG level? Kids were sold down the river and kids were sexually abused by Sandusky. In one case they ignored it and in another they took three years to investigate it while JS continued to abuse kids.

In K for C, PA did nothing. In Sandusky, the state acted, but they twisted the investigation to make sure they shoveled dirt on the shoes they wanted to make dirty along the way. I cannot tell which is worse--totally ignoring a prosecution for the abuse of kids' constitutional rights, or using the victims' cases to carry out political vendettas against those you wish to destroy.

We are WAYYY far afield of the sort of thing a state judiciary is supposed to do, and there are few persons in a black robe in PA whom I would trust to take my money and go buy me a cheeseburger. There, Kenny, I said it! If you are a PA judge, I would operate on a presumption of guilt with you. Covey would have borne the burden thus far, and some lawyers on here whom I trust could convince me to trust other judges, but that is it. Blindfold me and take me to some other state, remove the blindfold and have a judge walk out, and I respect that person just on reflex. In PA I would disrespect them on reflex.

This has broader implications. When a system of law enforcement is viewed as corrupt, those subject to its rules developed a natural (and justified) contempt for it. This is true whether the corruption is some political machinations by judges, or cops taking bribes or being violent with unarmed suspects.

I have friends who are cops who are constantly loading up my facebook feed with "police lives matter " bullshit. They are quick to point out that as long as you obey the law they will do no violence to you, you will not have a problem. But when a cop is caught on tape jerking some 16 yo girl out of her chair and flinging her across the room, they either fall silent or actually defend the guy. If your argument is that the vast majority of cops or judges are good and decent and do not violate the rules, then you had best be VERY quick to cut the cheaters out of the herd, or you risk being lathered up with the broad brush. Don't tell me that some cops or judges are bad then remain silent when they act badly, or actively cover it up.

Hey cops and judges--so long as YOU obey the law we will respect you. When you close ranks and cover up for wrongdoing, you lose the respect you started with. That ain't on me--it's on YOU.

Dem off the decalf again??? LOL, nice post.

If this doesn't go someplace soon, time to get out the pitchforks and storm city hall. This is why I am against gun control....Never use them, but like the message they send.

In his correspondence with McCoy, Feudale addresses specific e-mails that he had agreed to release and presumably did. That doesn't prove that Kane's office didn't get hold of other of Freudale's private e-mails without his knowledge or permission or that the Inky lied to its readership.
From what I read he apparently released the wrong one and is living to regret it. He then got his kid involved to assist in not screwing up a second time ?

He should of done more since we all know he ruled the state not the govenor...

So? It will be up to lyin' denyin' Feudale to prove it. I know you find his 10-inch knife to be sexy, but I am betting he will 1) prove nothing and 2) will ultimately be discredited even further than he is now (if that is possible).

I really don't care how she got them. The point is "those emails say what they say"

Throw Kane & Feudale in the same jail cell.

Ray, these Inky reporters who carried Feudale's water... what are their twitter handles? I'm tied up today but they really need to be called out.

Just about every employer in this country specifically warns employees that the employer has the right to monitor all traffic over their network and all usage of their equipment. Feudale apparently used government equipment to send personal email. He's an idiot. Too bad. Boo hoo.

Unfortunately I don't think this sort of thing is isolated to PA... it is just that with the whole Sandusky thing people have continued to dig, and dig, and dig and the result of all that digging has been to uncover and reveal layer, after layer, after layer of corruption. Where will it stop? I don't think anyone really knows the answer to that.

Just seems that if you are unethical/immoral you should go into 1. Politics or 2. Law - do you think that is coincidental?

Seriously, this is the most Pussy response to date. Perhaps all you jerks need a series of tests to stay in your positions of power in this order:

1) a lie detector test with questions asked about your own feelings about children and your own involvement with covering up child abuse.

2) a senility test.

3) a drug test.

Given those three tests, I think we get a 95% turnover in state judicial positions, BOT positions, Sate Police positions and OAG office positions with BOT, CWS and Second Mile leadership serving time.

What F'ing garbage we have poisoning our state. Pathetic.

Pa is no doubt corrupt, but don't throw too many stones. Aren't you from WV, which is routinely noted for the corruption in its courts.

The print media shouldn't expect us to feel sorry for them, since they suck at doing what they used to do very well. I once felt sad about the decline of the big city daily, but now I feel that they have it coming to them. If they all lose their jobs, so be it. They deserve it.

Leaking one secret email is illegal....and he sent it to Moulton.

Feudale is only slightly guilty like a woman is only slightly pregnant.

Ray, wasn't Moulton's sole purpose with the AG's office reviewing protected Grand Jury information? I'm not sure I understand your contention that Feudale sending an email (which, in the same message, he said he planned to redact any protected information) to Moulton's was illegal.

Not at all. The scope of the investigation was very narrow. It only included what happened between Aaron Fisher's report in 2008 up to the second set of charges in 2011.

Reeder was assigned to investigate the Sandusky GJ leaks.

Feudale's email is clear...the email he released accidentally to Moulton was also sent to the Inky reporters. It was from the "writ" -- not GJ information.

Sometimes I wonder what Woodward and Bernstein would say about the mess the MSM has gotten themselves into.

I wonder what took them so long, frankly.... The newspaper business, much as I like to sit down with a cup of coffee and a paper, is in trouble.

Since the Daily News was the one paper that has actually been on top of the entire Porngate mess, this is bad news. They'll probably get rid of people like Chris Brennan and keep people like Craig McCoy.
