Interesting Panel Discussion on Kane's Ability to Perform AG Duties

Here is a link to the 60 minute PCN panel discussion on "Attorney General Kane's Ability of Perform Duties." It was moderated by Francine Schertzer and included panelist Walter Cohen, Bill Keisling, and Dennis Roddy.



Bill Keisling of NewsLanc.com and yardbird.com was great. He made a very strong case that Kathleen Kane has not been getting a fair shake and what the Pennsylvania Senate is trying to do to remove Kane from office using an over 100 year old Pennsylvania law is a travesty of justice. Walter Cohen makes a lot of good points in explaining why what the Senate is trying to do is a mistake. Dennis Roddy is a partisan hack representing Frank Fina, Tom Corbett, the old boys network, and the trolls at Pennlive and would like to destroy Kane as soon as possible.

I thought this was overall a good panel discussion - Cohen is a former attorney general, and two partisans in Keisling and Roddy to oppose each other. For as much of a defender of Corbett as Roddy is, Keisling has opposed Corbett for the past decade dating back to Bonusgate. I agree with Cohen that going after Kane in this fashion is a mistake - if the legislature thinks that there's enough there to remove her from office, it should be through the impeachment process, not the method they're using.
