Wrestling InterMat Preseason Rankings for Penn State Wrestling

Are we already certain that Davis bears Nagao? Tyler over Alex? Barr over Mirasola and or Cochran?

This team is so deep, I won't even predict a lineup until Cael says so.

Lineup will vary all year long… allot of guys will wrestle with studs wrestling just enough to qualify for top B1G seeds. Cael is a master lineup manager!

I think it’s technically MI (missing intelligence).
No, I don't. "Essentially Sports" is a dead giveaway for stupidity.
Wow, a perfect example of an AI hallucination. Embarrassing.

Or ..Disita Sikdar is a moron.

Want to read a pretty dumb article?

Of course it's a dumb article; check out the grandiosity of the author's bio.

Disita is a US Sports writer at EssentiallySports, who specializes in covering track and field, equestrian sports, alpine skiing, and gymnastics. Her art of bringing Olympic Sports to life with a blend of meticulous research and knack for capturing the essence of athletic triumphs, makes her a trusted voice in world of sports journalism. Holding a master’s degree in English Literature, and formerly a social media manager and content writer for three years, Disita is also a published author. Also a hardcore Messi fan, soccer holds a special place in her heart. When away from the ES Desk, Disita can be found buried in fiction novels.

Fiction novels? No kidding, you don't say.

blend of meticulous research” ……… pathetic!!!!
As many have said, stop clicking on Essentially Sports, maybe it will be rendered worthless.

If you want even more fun click on her other articles, she has been quite prolific recently. She has one about Burroughs and one about David Evans and his upcoming MMA fight.

And sorry to highjack the original thread somewhat, though I thought it was related because it pertained to rankings. I also didn’t think her article deserved a new thread, I may have been wrong about that.

When I skimmed it I felt sad for all young people who will come to think of this dreck as acceptable. Didn’t finish it. Couldn't once my eyes started to bleed.

Did the article refer to Penn State's title hopes as 'skibidi' per chance?

A fluke? Beau was certainly in position to win--but Mendez out-competed him in the end. Wouldn't call it a fluke, but it definitely could have gone the other way.
Well, I agree that “fluke” maybe isn’t a great choice of words. That said, Beau was actually the aggressor in that finals match and he finishes that move for the win probably 85% of the time. Mendez basically drew an inside straight to win. To his credit, he pulled it off, but if anyone out there thinks the next Beau-Mendez match is anything but a complete toss-up they are sadly mistaken.

If enough people open dreck from "Essentially Sports" (whatever that is), this board will collectively lose its motor skills and start drooling uncontrollably.

In other words, about one step above GIA.

Please everybody, don't do it!
Now you say something lmfao

It is a silly article, but it shows Penn State's wrestling dominance is capturing the attention of a non-traditional audience.

I was scrolling through my news feed and saw this headline and immediately clicked to read.

Stealing Penn State Legends, David Taylor Speaks on Wrestling Club’s Decline: “Lot of Fallout”

By the second paragraph I realized I'd been bamboozled into a trash click bait article. I looked at where the article came from and sure enough "Essentially Sports" Different author than the other useless articles but the same no information drivel.

I'm not going to post the link because I'd hate to contribute more clicks to their nonsense.
