Gotta say they are having a solid outing. Many here predicted their ceiling at sniffing top 5. They appear poised to now take 3rd. I thought they’d do better than they did at B1Gs (and thank heaven they’ve helped us a lot more here), but didn’t see them beating Michigan.

And SPENCER LEE! It’s like he was saving another gear just for NCAAs. Suriano was also apparently sand bagging and has wrestled well, but I don’t see him being able to hang with Lee. He couldn’t score on Cruz and needed stalling points to win that match. I think he’s in for a rude awakening Saturday night.

I hope Lee rag dolls him the whole way down the PA Turnpike, and, for good measure, drop kicks him into the state of New Jersey.

Iowa helped us big time yesterday. Lee/NATO, Sorensen/Hayes.

Lee is by far my favorite non PSU wrestler. Absolute hammer. He’s one guy I can see putting up the perfect tourney one year (30 points)

This^^. For Jersey Kid to have a chance, it must be a low-scoring match. Jersey Kid is really tough to score on, so I think it is low scoring, but that Lee wins something like 3-2 or 4-2.

Iowa is having a very nice tournament and will be a challenger next year with Lee, Kemerer, Martinelli, Wilcke (184), and Stoll returning. Add in Warner (197) and a yr older Young (174) and they do well next year.
