I wonder if Iowa State were the only ones doing it? Back in the day, weren't most of the wrestlers on the collegiate boxing team as well?

I love the robe. I don't remember any other teams, but I'd guess there were some.

I know the Boomer Sooners ran out the robes also! Still remember Dr Death and the Sooners taking the mat at Rec Hall as a child, when a mystery man at 167, moved all the way up to Hwy and beat Dr Death for the PSU win over Abels Sooners.

LOVED the gentle giant Chris! One of my heroes growing up, he was an amazing wrestler, and a great man with a giant heart as well. RIP Chris....
