Oh my gosh! I started listening to Christmas music a couple weeks ago and just now realized that the Kay Starr classic "The Man With the Bag" is about Slumlord Bob. It took some digging, but I found an obscure backmasking music site that even has the original secret lyrics. This weekend was the greased pig national finals in Iowa City.
They weren't wrestling in the CKLV and the Ironman had so many PSU recruits and that makes it painful to watch or even discuss.
The reality of the playing field still not being level despite Bob "I got a bag for ya" proclaiming otherwise is just too much for the HR goofs to deal with.
Even worse, if they had watched CKLV they would have seen the future coach of the Iowa program who got away.
They need to pace themselves. Soldier Salute is just 3 weeks away.
But the Iowa women went 5-0 at the Jewell Duals. So there’s that exciting news to read about. 😂

I check it out on a regular basis because their takes are usually comical, but you’re right, lately it’s mostly just nonsense and talk of women’s wrestling. They have already given up on this year. I was hoping for some angry final death throes posts but i believe they are just quietly fading into irrelevance. Sad days in Iowa indeed.

It was actually the states Hog-calling championships. Final results showed they called in 17 hogs, 8 cheerleaders and 49 Ex-wives. It was a new state record for # of hogs.

Zero starters lost. I'm as critical as an Iowa fan gets, but this team is wrestling well right now.
I think he's looked pretty good. In that match he got caught in one scramble getting greedy on his own attack and dug a 5-0 hole. Outscored his guy 11-2 from that point forward.

Don’t think he’s a punk per se. More annoyed at the hype when we’ve got a guy just out of high school as a redshirt backup who has beaten him multiple times. He needs to handle our backups before he steps to our starters don’t you think?
