Teemer's injury removes one of their few chances to win a bout. This is 8-2 at best for them (Ayala/Buchanan) with the rest of the matches potential bonus point for PSU (yes, 149 included based on SVN's dismantling of Waters...). Not every one will, of course, but potentially in every other weight.

Instead of Brands tossing a Brands, I say let Cael and Jake play catch with them.
There is a better chance SVN will earn bonus points than lose.

I was there for the 5-1 All Star Classic match. The score was flattering to Parco.
The only 3 bouts in question are 33, 57, 97.
33: If Braeden is healthy, I say 133 is a complete 50-50 toss up.
57: If Teemer was 100% healthy he’d be a slight favorite over Kasak, but only slight. Given the uncertainty of his health status, I’d favor Kasak at this time.
97: Interesting that Wrestlestat with the algorithm that is notoriously skeptical of Freshmen, has Barr winning, 9-4. I would probably favor Buchanan in a low scoring battle.

The gap between Ayala and Davis did not look wide last year in their dual. One takedown then Ayala just went to the knee for the rest of the dual.

Absolutely. Considering I expect Davis to make a little jump up in his second year, it’s a complete toss up.

It doesn't matter if Teamer has 2 healthy legs or not. If Kasak is the 157 pounder for PSU that night Kasak is winning.

For me, given the way Kasak has been wrestling….im taking him in every match.
For the dual, I want whichever one won't be at 184 for the post season. That way Carter at least has a crack at both of them.
I am not a huge Tom Brands fan, other than for pure entertainment value, but he has proven 2 years in a row vs Iowa St and tOSU he manipulated his lineup to perfection.
I bet he goes with Ferrari in the dual which gives Gabe a fresh shot in the tourneys. Getting spanked twice by a Carter before Nationals won't do anything for his confidence. I think Ferrari is better as well and as a true freshman, spankings are expected.
I will donate 500.00 to Iowa wrestling and 1000.00 to Carter's NIL if:.........Iowa sends out Ferrari to wrestle Carter and Carter wears...over his singlet....Ferrari's sisters panties. We know who has them. He will probably sell them as cheap as Freedos' butthole pics....

I wouldn't be shocked if Parco won. I would be very surprised if Bartlett won by major. I think SVN wins, but it'll likely be close. I doubt Kasak majors whomever Iowa throws out. Familiarity says decision by Mesenbrink. Haines Dec, and likely Carter as well. Greg also likely dec Keuter.
I'd expect the next Mesenbrink vs. Caliendo match to look a lot like the one below, but quicker.

I'd be shocked if Parco won. One, I think SVN is simply better. Two, this is Parco's fifth year at 149, and he has diminishing bonus win percentage each year since his freshman year. He is down to 27% bonus. I wonder if 149 is becoming a tough pull for Parco, as he seems to have hit a plateau in the mid AA range (3-6) the last couple years.
Nope, I don't think its a likely to get bonuses on Gabe, Ferarri, or Brands. If they try to actually wrestle instead of keeping it tight would be the only way I think they get bonused by anyone PSU..

In a rivalry this intense there is typically an upset or two so I'm not going to predict a shutout. But I think we do have a shot at it. Both Davis and Kasak can win IMHO and the rest will be pretty strong favorites.
