Is anyone picking Auburn over GA?

I don't see it.....it could happen I guess, that's why u play the game!

Honestly, I don't see anything that will stop Georgia or Alabama this year. For those that say star rankings don't matter this will be the other side of that.

I hope I am wrong, parity keeps everyone involved.

I am just hoping we beat Iowa....I have it 38-10 Penn State.

Ouch, hope that isn't correct ;-).

I hope Auburn runs the table, it really helps All the Big 10, not just PSU. I don't think it will happen (UGA and Bama look too strong, but maybe Auburn plays them both tough).

I know it’s silly to sell that other SEC team short, but I think Georgia is even tougher. I can’t imagine Auburn keeping it close.

I doubt it but taking a critical eye to Georgia who have they really played? They played a tight game against what we now know is a bad Clemson team. Blew out an Arkansas was clearly overrated. Not sure their resume was any better than Maryland’s yet Maryland was unranked and Arkansas was top 10 (#sec).

I don’t think they’re unbeatable based on results to date.

Have to not get mushed back by that big offensive line on runs like Arky did. Get it to 3rd and make either of those QBs have to make big plays.

On offense they would need Bo Nix to play lights out. Keep it in range and make it happen in the 4th.

I would actually give Auburn a better shot against Bama just cause it's such a huge rivalry.

I don't think Auburn has much of a chance against Georgia but as said above...that's why they play the game.

I'm not sure Auburn can score more than 10-14 on that UGA defense. Nix would have to play nearly perfect to do so.

Not sure if Daniels returns this week, but his backup is not a great passer. Under 100 vs Arkansas. They don't have a deep threat without Pickins and I'm not sure where he is.

Sell out for the run and pray.

It’s far from a “bad” Clemson team. They’d be favored tonight over all but 10-15 teams in the country on a neutral field.

Offensively challenged, yes. Injured at key spots, yes. Adjusting to a few coaching staff changes after years of continuity. They have not brought in a single transfer under Dabo (https://theclemsoninsider.com/2021/09/27/has-swinney-softened-his-stance-on-the-transfer-portal/).

The talent is there. They just aren't cohesive yet for a number of reasons. The luck of replacing Watson with Lawrence in such a short relative span must be taken into consideration.

Honestly don’t see. I think UGA will win by 21 relatively easy.

At the end of the day I just want the W for our Lions in Iowa City.

This would help the B1G and the Lions if we beat Iowa. A,GA loss and another if they play Alabama in the championship could put 2 B1G teams in the playoffs.
We don’t need any help. We win out, anyone from the Big Ten East wins out, and they will make the playoffs.

I mean Clemson kept it close and I’d argue Auburn is at least as good as this version of Clemson.

And Auburn is at home.

I would agree that Auburn is unlikely to win and probably won't even keep it that close. But if they would get a lucky bounce or two, who knows?

True. The bigger issue is what about a 1 loss Big Ten team (which could easily be PSU). An Auburn win against UGA would be pretty huge for that, more so from making it so much less likely for the SEC to get two teams in the playoff (but also in helping PSU's SOS case).

Don’t sleep on AU this weekend. Do I think that they can win? Hell yes. Do I think that it’s probable? No. It’s SEC football at the greatest home field advantage in the South. I’ve seen some really crazy shit there. Gonna be a crazy environment

You think Georgia Auburn isn’t a big rivalry? It’s “the south’s oldest rivalry” they’ve played 125 times. It’s a huge rivalry and Auburn can save their season with a win. I’m not saying Auburn wins, but I’d bet they keep it close at home on the plains.

AU v UGA is a much more heated rivalry, over the last 20 years.

I thought the game is at Auburn. Also, the SEC officials will be the 12th and 13th man on the field for GA. The league will want to protect their 2 teams in the playoffs run.

Why has beating an Arkansas team that has been a dumpster fire since joining the SEC propelled Georgia into unbeatable status? I say bullspit. AR, TX & OK do not impress me. None will win the SEC championship in the next 10 years.
