I think we are going to land all three. Probably just more wishful thinking. Fix, Berge & Wittlake. Might best PSU team yet.

1 maybe 2 is my guess. I figure Cael is offering Fix more then Berge. That still might not get him away from OSU. Which would leave more $ for Berge, but he may not like being a consolation prize. Whittlake IMO is a lock.

All three are worth big $. If Cael can get them to take a discount then all 3 isn't out of the question.

I don't see where Berge fits into PSU's lineup long term unless Joe Lee grows a bunch. Nick at 41/49, Manville at 157.

Also, what is Wittlake projected to? With Hall and Cenzo likely holding down 65/74, I'd imagine Wittlake is thinking he'll grown into 84?

at this time 74 does look like a more natural weight for him but he has three years before he would hit the PSU lineup so 84 isn't out of the question.

184 at PSU, could do 174 elsewhere.

This is a perfect storm situation -- Wittlake is more of a Matt Brown mauler than a David Taylor slickster. The extra weight/strength at 184 directly benefits his style. And that's where he fits in the lineup.

He does have a very refined ankle pick though, which Monocle Guy approves of

If you're a middleweight around 41-57 you've got to look at Penn State and realize that we are the spot to be right now. If Pico is done we have the top 2 returning placers at the Trials, plus Gomez. Oh, and Nolf is there.

Honestly, sitting for a few years to rumble with these guys day in and out could be easily justifiable. Again all depends on how everything shakes out, and I would love seeing Berge here.

Fix and Wittlake are obviously phenomenal too and would fit right in. Would be great to land all three.

Just a guess from a guy who has more love for the sport than knowledge.

125/133 Suriano & Fix
141 - N. Lee
149/157 - Berge & J. Lee
165 - Manville ( heard he in the 190's)
174/184 - Hall & Wittlake.
Manville just going to hang out and sit behind Cenzo for a couple years? And if he's in the 190s he's way overweight, kid does not have the frame to ever weight that much

I think we get 2 of the 3...Fix an Whitlake. I started calling Fix to PSU on a gut feeling months ago when it wasn't fashionable and it looked like we had no chance. No reason to change my prediction now... lol

I'd say it's wishful thinking. Much more likely that PSU lands just one (Whitlake). Getting Fix way from Okie State will be very difficult. Berge is possible but not likely IMO. Seems very unlikely PSU would be able to accommodate both Fix and Berge in the same class; can't see that happening.

Recruiting is taken way too personally by way too many fans, from all schools. Trust the coaching staff, sit back, and relax.

Roar, don't post stuff like that, I wake up in the morning always looking for a good laugh. I always find it here!:)
We (PSU fans) find good laughs here too, Mike. In fact, I've had a good laugh exactly 8 times here since Monday morning ;).

Conversely we've been laughing a lot later in March when it all counts.

As a state, Oklahoma doesn't produce near the talent Pa does - you better keep your top in state guys or obsolescence beckons.

Not that I post for "likes", I don't...but in this case, getting none has me questioning whether anyone got my cryptic post .

You see...Mike has exactly 8 posts since Monday morning, and I was having some light-hearted fun with him that we (PSU fans, me in particular) have a good laugh at his posts. Carry on all!!

What alternatives are there?
Is there an OSU board somewhere with >few posts a day?
You can get all caught up @34&Counting before the Cocoa Puffs get soggy.
Then what to do? Fan out & try to keep pace w/Jammx, I guess

You can always count on me to keep this board on the straight and narrow, and also have a few laughs at me along the way.
