First, Shoop. I find it odd that someone would move laterally to a job they hope to have only a year or two. He was getting publicity at Penn State, maybe he should focus on his interview skills. Then I see the story that he is paying his own buyout fee which I put no credibility in ($800k!), but the move still seems like a lot of effort to gain a rather small career advantage (assuming that's all it is about). Then Hand, admittedly most of us have more mixed emotions about that loss and maybe he just wants to get out of a tough spot. And apparently his family never moved to SC. He has ties to Malzahn, but another lateral move? I know we were spoiled by the stability of Joe's staff (and maybe his staff needed some turnover) but this all seems a bit odd and disconcerting. Then Geno Lewis. Hate to lose him, but he was stuck behind two younger guys and has been squeezed for PT. I understand his thinking. Now Troy Reeder, that one came out of nowhere. He probably wouldn't start in '16 but should see plenty of PT. I know about all the family ties to Delaware, but really? The cumulative effect of all this (and is it all over?) just leaves me with an uneasy feeling...
