Villanova and Duke played really well today. Is it too early to be tired of Duke and Kentucky?
They are all over Twitter land it's over the top. Maybe I should stop looking at Twitter. Why feel tired of UMBC when they will be gone tomorrow?

I just don't like the forced personal stories. I'm happy for the Loyola nun, but enough already.
It would get interesting if UMBC kept advancing. The fact that they blew out UVA just made me think the seeding was way off. UVa was not a #1 and UMBC was not a #16. I always thought the first 16 to beat a #1 would extremely exciting but this was about as anti-climactic as I could imagine.
Now we’re really gonna get blasted with that story....yawn.I just don't like the forced personal stories. I'm happy for the Loyola nun, but enough already.
Why? It's one of the great upsets in sports.
Let them have their moment.

by the numbers with a RPI of 111 they were lucky not to play in Dayton. I was shocked Radford went instead of UMBC.
The bottom line is they shot lights out. Prob will never be able to shoot that well again, but they did yesterday. Virginia didn’t shoot well. It was a upset, but a pretty big fluke imo
yeah 'elitists' who went to large state universitiesAnother thread started and contributed to by elitists who only care about teams that are in the precious 'power 5' schools. That's what make the upsets even more gratifying because it brings to the surface the stories involved at the so-called lower end of D1 that you casual fans don't have the time for.

BWI is going to have stand for
Boys Whining Incessantly.
Jeez-these kids have worked hard snd they are getting nice support. Let them have their fun.
Stop the whining.
Or started by those that would rather see good games in all the rounds of the tournament instead of a couple of upsets out of a massive number of mid majors getting in the tournament. The blue bloods keep winning because they have little competition into the sweet 16...and this tournament continues to prove that despite a 16 finally beating a 1.Another thread started and contributed to by elitists who only care about teams that are in the precious 'power 5' schools. And there’s 8 teams in the sweet 16 and 5 of them are P5 teams and 2 are traditional basketball schools...so that leaves one mid major upset team. Wow, that was worth it. And by the way, Kentucky, Duke and Kansas have all advanced. Why? Because they haven’t played anyone yet.If you don’t think these first 3 days have been chock full of really good games, then there’s no help for you on this subject.

I’ve watched almost all of the games...and bottom line is who wins. Kentucky still ended up winning by 16. My guess is more than 21 of them would have been good if there were some better teams. And Seton Hall would almost always be in the tournament...they’re like Gonzaga and Butler, they’re basketball schools.Kentucky had a rough time with Davidson and Buffalo gave them a run for 35 minutes. Kansas was in a dogfight with Seton Hall and had to withstand a 20-20 game from Delgado to advance. Duke...well, they didn't have to exert too much energy. But you don't watch the games, you just look at who advances and base your arguments on that. Of the 40 games played so far, I'd qualify 21 of them as being better than average to really freakin good. But again, you just look at names and base your opinion on that.

You must be easily confused then...I’m just saying I would like to see 64 good teams in the tournament. I’m not saying they all need to be P5 schools, but the over abundance of mid major teams is getting old.So let me get this straight...in one thread, you bemoan the fact that the Texas Southerns and the Ionas of the world get into the tournament and then in this thread, you whine about Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas advance in what you call 'boring' games. Your mindset confuses me and I'm sure many others here.
How about today's first 2 games...have those been good enough for you or did you find something else wrong with them?
Jeez..give them their due. The 16 seed was 0-135 gong into that game; UMBC had to hit a buzzer beater (by Lyles) just to make it to the dance. Then they come in as a 20.5 point underdog to the #1 rated team in the entire tournament and kicked their ass....beat them by 20 producing a 40.5 point swing in the betting line??!!??!! Some of the above posts are so lame!!! What UMBC did is absolutely off-the-charts amazing...and you are sick of them getting pub? Here's what I am sick of:
I am sick of Syracuse getting pub and douche-bag Boheim
I am sick of Kentucky getting pub
I am sick of Duke
Hate Kansas
Hate Michigan and MSU
Gonzaga is puke inducing!!!
I don't dislike Villanova as much, but throw them in there too!!!
UCLA.....Pitt.....??? Uh...nevermind.....
These are the same broken records that we have to keep replaying year-after-year!! But I guess we can breathe easy that all of these programs are doing things the right way? So when they win it's just great coaching and players?
A no-name, no-nothing 16-seed just beat the crap out of the #1 seed...stop whining and give them their 15 minutes because they may never get it again...and they earned the shit out of it!!! Good night now!
13 of 16 teams are P5 teams (81%), yet 54% of the field we’re non P5 teams. Geez, I wonder who should get more teams in.Another thread started and contributed to by elitists who only care about teams that are in the precious 'power 5' schools. How can anyone dislike Gonzaga and Nova? They have 2 coaches who win and lose with class and do it the right way.
I also think Gonzaga is one of the smallest D1 schools with like 6K students, which makes what they do every year even more awesome.
