...he didn't feel his job was secure? Football Scoop reported this and they're a highly reliable source. The more I hear these bits of info, the more it's starting to make sense to me that Donovan's dismissal was a loud siren to all on the staff that nobody's job is safe. Franklin preached about having undying loyalty and then let Donovan go after the season. Next, we see Shoop actually acting on an offer and accepting, followed by Hand doing the same. Both lateral moves, meaning the found something more to their liking. This isn't a bad thing for us, but I definitely see how insecure the staff has been feeling lately, especially given the team's performance the last couple of years as well as the criticism the program receives.

As for the transfers, my sense is that this is completely separate and unrelated
