I hate to agree with Gibbons but as RBY has slowed down and developed his craft more he has jumped levels from where he was early in his career. Very smart tactician.

McGee is probably the closest I think. I thought Vito but he doesn’t seem quite as dynamic this year in the matches I’ve watched of his. I haven’t seen a ton of his matches this year though so I could be off base

He's more of a russian in terms of his speed. Think batirov. When he isn't actively offensive or defensive, you can't tell how fast he is (as opposed to a JB, RBY, Starocci). But when he goes? whoo buddy.

I agree 100%. RBY is so sound fundamentally in all 3 positions that his speed is now his 'ace in the hole', so to speak. It's no longer his go to but there when he needs it.

I think there are plenty of wrestlers in the NCAA that are as fast as RBY..
Most of them use it in reverse though..
