Has anyone seen this video of the 2012 Romney endorsement from Trump? If Romney goes out there today and says the things that Mark Halperin reported is in the transcript Romney supplied to him, Trump will absolutely eat Romney alive and tear him apart like cannon fodder.
Romney HAS to know this. I don't identify him as being a stupid man. Either he is:
1.) Severely indebted to someone VERY important, and has been threatened into doing this.
2.) Really IS stupid and doesn't know that Trump (or any elementary school student) could turn this into a HUGE political advantage.
3.) In a strange, convoluted way, doesn't mind destroying his OWN political career (if it even exists anymore) so as to prove how untrustworthy and in the pocket of special interests mainstream politicians really are.
Watch the video. Tell me if Trump wouldn't have a field day with it. Really scratching my head on this one.
