They stick out their necks and put us at #4 ahead of defending champ Clemson and then we make them look dumb by losing. Not sure I would be giving PSU the benefit of the doubt the next time around....

Why is it so complicated? They rank us where they think we should go each week. Not much more to it.
PSU deserved the #4 ranking at the time. I don't give shite what committee thinks. They had the best resume apart from LSU too.
AP and coaches poll is biggest pile of dog crap I every seen. Two 3 loss teams in front and Utah who hasn't beaten literally anybody remotely good. I know PSU hasn't look good last half of season but mostly because they played really good teams apart from Rutgers of course. George at #5, what in the F is that about?

I am convinced that only way PSU is ever going to get into the CFP is by being undefeated. We have to force the outcome by leaving them no choice. It doesn’t matter if everybody has one loss.

The CFP committee has us 3 spots ahead of the AP poll, which got us a NY6 bowl.
It’s not out to get us.
That's also the only way Wisconsin will get in.
An undefeated Big Ten champion should get in. After that, it's all a crap shoot.
