Is this true? Freeh confuses PSU's 3rd string QB with a JS victim?

So I finally listened to the Slaten/ Zeiglar interview and Zeiglar said that Jay Paterno has spoken of this. Apparently while being interviewed by the Freeh investigators they tell Jay that JS was able to get his victims onto the PSU sideline during games in Penn St uniforms (years after retiring). Jay says what the hell are you talking about? They then slap a picture in front of him of Penn State's 3rd string qb (Shane McGregor?) in uniform on the sideline and say he was one of JS's kids being groomed. Jay laughs and says they are idiots- that was the third string QB who Jay has coached for years.

Is this true? If so- holy God were the Freeh people both desperate and clueless at the same time. How has this great investigative work by Freeh not made the papers yet?

That's true.

Although, it was the state police. Here's a story on that from July.

McGregor

Re: That's true.

It is true...and this guy was the head of the FBI...amazing isn't it...Freeh may actually be the biggest scumbag in the country...he knows he is lying, yet for the dollar I will do it anyway....

Re: That's true.

Thanks Chris. That's the first I've ever heard of this. God almighty- how incompetent are the state police? I had my doubts when they couldn't find the cop killer in the woods a few months ago but how can you not check the roster and tell that it's Shane McGregor? It's a 10 second Internet search. Instead you insist its a victim of JS being groomed on the sidelines??? Good God........

Re: That's true.

You can pretty much say that for just about all politicians, some are just more skilled at it.

Re: That's true.

They found that guy in an airport hanger 2.5 miles from my office. Frein that is and there is no way they spent 12.5 mil that search it was crawling w cops and constant helio's in the air.

Please someone in the MEDIA pick this up and REPORT it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, that's what I don't get. How is this not reported?

Hell, if Lubrano went into a Board of Trustees meeting and made a false claim, the Patriot News and Centre Daily Times would spend a week and multiple articles talking about how Lubrano didn't know what he was talking about. Yet here the state police are showing Jay Paterno a Penn State football player and claiming him to be a little kid in a PSU uniform that JS was grooming on the sidelines???? How in the world is the press not all over the incompetence of investigators, state agencies like CYS etc?

These are the people building the case and charging others with crimes and they could not tell the difference between Penn States 3rd string QB (20/21 years old) and a little kid supposedly being groomed by JS on the sideline?? Even with the ease of a simple Internet search which would have given them Shane McGregor's picture, uniform number, and bio in less than 10 seconds? Unreal. You just can't make this stuff up.

It wasn't Freeh. Jay had the incident in his book. He was being questioned by the State Police and Soller was with him. It was after coming back from the bowl game. It was during a meeting with the university attorney. Jay wasn't allowed to have an attorney present with the Freeh investigators. I don't think they used police for interviewing.

His Freeh interview centered on Paterno, Spanier and Curley. As a side note, Jay had asked for copies of their notes. They told them they were privileged information and were property of his clients. When asked who his clients were, they answered the Board of Trustees.

What do you expect from a media .psu media school they cut from same cloth
