Is Tom Brady leaving Fox?

Too bad, he's a really good analyst. Right up there with Romo, Olsen and Collinsworth. Collinsworth gets a lot of flak from fans but he's probably still my favorite. Incredibly well prepared, knows all the players and what they can do, 15 seconds of Collinsworth explaining the blocking on a play is time really well spent. And he loves the game and that comes through.

I've found him to be marginal at best. I think he misses the game and will be better suited to be a coach or owner. he certainly has the chops but I was looking for a lot more insight and stories within the story from him. His analysis has been pretty light.

In Romo's first year, he used to call the plays. Bernie Kosar, if you could get passed his mumbling was fantastic. He'd call out zone or man, call out the blitz, point out who was double teams or under-covered. When he called a game, it was a clinic.

he got fired because in one preseason game, he soundly complained that the Jeff Fisher Rams phoned in their pre-season game. That they were playing unprepared and that it was a travesty for the fans who paid for that crap performance. The Rams officially complained to the NFL who complained to the Browns. Kosar, as is his history, told the Browns he was going to continue to call games as he saw them. The Browns didn't want the controversy so they fired him.

So...I think the criticism most analysts get is absurd but Brady has been underwhelming IMO thus far. Not awful but not good either. Romo was a player I hated but he's great in the booth so I don't think it's just anti-Brady bias by me. He's just hit or miss.
