Pens just could not replace the 2 good 2-way centers that they lost. And Kessell played poorly. He needs to go to "stick time" and work on his puck handling - too many turnovers, and he needs to be with better puck handlers so he can just concentrate on getting in position to shoot, his strength. And the Defense was not nearly as good as the last 2 years. Blown assignments resulting in too many odd man rushes. Too many open shots from 15-20 feet. The organization has some work to do to assemble a few more key players to round out the roster in order to make another run at the cup in 2019...... Find a team that will take Letang in a trade for a good young defenseman.......

Take it easy Glov. I know it’s the dead time of the sports calendar year- no football, hockey’s over for the PA teams, and there’s no basketball in Pittsburgh.

All that’s left are the Pirates, and I totally get that Pirates baseball over the years can drive someone to drink heavily....... or, even worse, watch soccer. I see you’ve found the perfect combination of both heavy drinking and soccer- the English ‘Premier’ league.

I know the next few months can get depressing while waiting for college football to start in August, but there is good news!! The weather is getting warmer and now you have plenty of extras in Pittsburgh to help you work on your golf game!

Always look on the bright side Glov!! It’s just a matter of time before you’ll be back enjoying Penn State football and every Notre Dame loss.
