It's interesting how most American holiday's focus on R issues

1. Religion -- Christmas & Easter
2. Independence & Military -- Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th
3. Workers -- Labor Day

If we were to have holiday's for D issues, we would have holiday's for:

1. Legalizing drugs
2. Raising the minimum wage
3. Obamacare
4. Welfare
5. Same sex marriages
