This is not true. Salk painted himself as some benevolent hero when in fact the people who funded his research explored patenting it. His work was too similar to previous work in the field so his vaccine was not patentable.

Look, most people who are having a questioning attitude toward the anecdotal evidence of more young and healthy people dying are not of the belief that COVID isn’t real. They (and me) believe that the push to have young people and children to get the vaccine when their risk from COVID is already close to zero is crazy. The long term effects of the vaccine is not known and by definition, it can’t be known for… you know… a LONG time. For high risk people the potential benefit of vaccination could be justified. I never understood how people could justify giving kids the jab. My 16 and 14 year old daughters didn’t get it and will never get it. I, on the other hand, did decide to get vaccinated (both shots) and I got one booster also. I have since made the decision that I won’t get any more boosters.

She made it to the hospital and it was determined that she had a rare heart ailment that was never detected by any physicals including her recent sport physical. This sort of thing is only new in the eyes of the wackos.....I don't know what's worse....seeing people still wearing masks outside or those who attribute every malady to the dreaded vaccine.

It's not valid to look at singular instances here and there and make broad conclusions. It is however valid to look at a sudden 30% increase in heart related events across an entire population of people and seek to understand what factors may be causing it.

I will probably regret wading in, but is there any indication that such numbers are related to vaccine use? The published study that documented the rise in heart attacks in ages 25-44 from Cedars Sinai attributed the increase to people contracting COVID.

Anecdotally, I feel like the vast majority people I know have gotten COVID at some point in the past 3 years so I wouldn’t exactly be shocked if just getting it but recovering has had an impact on some baseline health measurements.
