Franklin so much more optimistic

pretty optimistic in several areas. clearly sees improvement - which is comforting.

one area he was not overly thrilled about was kicking/punting. this may start to rise as our #1 issue over OL. punting was pretty bad last year - and if this is not improving = wow. overall kicking/punting can lose you a couple games every year. Joe really knew this and tried to address all the time.

Sounds like the door may be open for Barkley or Robinson to make a contribution at RB this year. Thomas is banged up and Allen is more of 3rd down back.

Barkley's tape is amazing.
