Penn State's game captains for this week's Michigan game will be legendary linebacker Sean Lee and beloved former equipment manager Brad "Spider" Caldwell.
Franklin noted that Michigan really hasn't been challenged yet this season due to how they are able to control the game on both sides of the ball. Also notes that he expects the fans to be ready to go on Saturday and bring a challenging environment with them.
Franklin feels the front seven is bigger and has more depth this season which he hopes will help combat Michigan's rushing attack which will be a big matchup in this one.
Franklin seems happy with the performance of the wide receivers and tight ends this past weekend but notes it will have to continue this weekend against Michigan says they'll need to hit those big plays.
Franklin says OL J'Ven Williams, OL Anthony Donkoh, and LB Kaveion Keys are all players who could see more playing times over the remainder of the season.
Asked about if they're paying attention to anything surrounding Harbaugh, Franklin says they're focused on what they're seeing on tape (specifies coaches tape) and what's happening in between the sidelines.
